McAfee's Internet Security software is also good to have. It blocks any attempted connections from Ips to your ports etc. I personally think it's the best one to have [glow=red,2,300]It does? hmmm or does it:P thing is if you have ICS on your machine...(Internet Connection Sharing) most firewalls including the above will let you connect from a non default machine....e.g. me on a laptop:P[/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]A little update on my abuse of company's who dont protect themselves... Well more like some info for you lot anyway lol, concerning wifi routers, if you have them, have you changed the default passwords and or name to log into them? if not then your leaving yourself wide open to abuse, for instance most routers etc use admin as default name then either something stupid like password or 1234... AS THE PASSWORD lmfao and more people/companys than I can count leave them as they are.... For example, I was online tonight and just for the hell of it, I logged onto the pc I was surfing through, I then entered the following name/password.... Admin/password Guess what? yup it let me log on, now if I wanted to be truly evil can you imagine the next morning this company's office staff coming in, only to find their internet/network wouldnt let them log on.... Question is? did I do it LMFAO[/glow]

There was a film I saw recently that highlighted that...can't remember what it was but they managed to get onto someone's network because the password was password. Stupid people.

[glow=red,2,300]I may come across here as being nasty and all evil, but for those of you who think what I am doing is wrong, then your missing my point entirely, what I am trying to do is highlight security issues for one and all, in fact half the time if I find a really really stupid flaw in a network, i.e. sharing bank details, I will leave a msg on that PC telling the admin to sort it out... Some of you think I am bullshitting when I say what I do... DONT, I have more than ample proof of how stupid companys actually are, just think on this, does your company use wifi? do they employ good security measures?[/glow]
