Python, python and more python.......... Do you think you could faithfully recreate John Cleese's silly walk? What about bringing the famous Dead Parrot Sketch to the big screen? If either of these prospects sound tempting, then you may be interested to know that a Hollywood production company is heading for London to hold an open audition for young Pythons. www.empireonline.co.uk/site/news/newsstory.asp?news_id=15649

Right. I spoke to hollywood and they told me the following : *We, who are extremely rich and powerful reserve the right to steal a really good program/idea/book/anything of any true value (especially comic in origin) and completely destroy what the original creators of said idea intended.* This could involve any of the following: Bad casting. Worse Script. Ben Affleck. Leonardo de craprio. Getting as far from the original idea as possible. Waste as much money as possible for making something that no one wants. Keeping the name of said project but nothing else. (Please see remake of the Italian Job for reference) Putting the audience through hours of boredom till the special effects turn up at the end. (Please see Titanic). This movie in particular has a category all of its own. It won an award for most money wasted on a single bad idea. And also the award for the most people ever suckered into a cinema to watch something this bad. A new warning sticker to go on the DVD that states in big red letters *This film is really, really really bad just put me back on the shelf*........... And don't forget if the world is going to end phone America or Bruce Willis....... But don't worry it might be alright.....

It worries me just how much influence Hollywood has over the masses. Lets just hope that British films begin to be more prolific.

Yea its a shame that most of the original ideas we love and hold dear are always the ones that end up getting destroyed by hollywood. The one I am most personally pissed off about is the movie version of the Dan Simmons books called the Hyperion Cantos. These are easily the four greatest books you could ever read and for one of the main characters they want to sign up Leonardo De Craprio. You couldn't cast a bigger WANKER for the role. If you ever read these books you'll know what i mean..... But as for the python tribute let's just pray they can make it with the fans in mind. The same goes for the movie version of The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Although thankfully it looks like for once it should stay true to the books. And to a great author. (I Finally got a copy of Last Chance To See and am eagerly awaiting reading it). Here's me keeping his fingers crossed. And touching all the wood he can find.

Yea i'd have to agree its looking good. ;D After seeing the new AvP trailer, i got set on a mission to see what other films are coming out soon. Mmmmm what did i find. Any one seen anything about the new disaster movie called the Day after Tommorow? Seems its disaster season again. This time its good old mother nature whooping our collective arses. Got to love they way we get shown films of mass destruction, just in case we need preparing for it. And being as no one can decide if its going to be global warming or global freezing, and ignoring nature seems to be high on the agenda these days, its about time we got shown a taste just in case. Theres a new trailer out. www.thedayaftertomorrow.com/trailer/index.htmlAnd if like me, your amazed by the power of the weather then it looks pretty good. Unless of course your the statue of liberty.

oh, and another "disaster" movie everyone should see... Shaun of the Dead! It's a parody of Dawn of the dead, and it will be hilarious

Keep trying to get both, Dawn and Shaun of the dead but its the damn trailer instead of the film. Hopefully should be the real deal soon. Anyone watch any manga or anime films? I've just watched the trailer for Ghost in the Shell 2 - Innocence. It looks bloody amazing. The first film was class, but this one looks like its going to beat even Akira in style. I just wish i knew Japanese so i don't have to wait for a dubbed version.

Yea another favourite of mine is a series called Hellsing. I bought the dvd off of ebay. Its really good. I also got addicted to Neon Genesis Evangelion. Took me bloody ages to download the whole series off of kazaa though.
