[glow=red,2,300]Yes Dennis, I have seen plenty of pictures m8, and heard firsthand stories from my great uncle, who incidentally was a member of a bombing crew sent over Dresden. Not to detract from your post, but the point I was trying to get across was the fact that due to the amount of civilian deaths arising from this war, we will find it harder and harder to win it, due to views of said civilians, that we are nothing but terrorists in their eyes, again in no way am I saying all the civilian deaths are down to us, but the majority is.
terrorism
\Ter"ror*ism\, n. [Cf. F. terrorisme.] The act of terrorizing, or state of being terrorized; a mode of government by terror or intimidation
I in no way meant to convey, that we are actually terrorists, just that we can be percieved to be, this in turn can be used against us by the "REAL" terrorists, who instill a deep and utter hatred of ourselves, into the uninformed persons of the region, thus making more terrorists out of the general population, therefore making this war against terrorism even harder, if not impossible to win.
If all you are surrounded by is terror, is it any wonder that we reap what we sow??[/glow]
