Well so far, I'm not as WOWed out as Buzz seems to be about this game (mainly cause my men keep trying to find cover by leaving the cover I've put them behind and running infront of the enemy guns!!

And wtf was that tutorial. I know it actually gave you a bit of one at the beginning of the game but why have the tutorial section if you're just going to do a moving version of a single sheet of paper in the box??

Still, I haven't got far yet and I shall report more later

Game completed on Normal difficulty.

Its ok. Not my favorite game ever but that's probably more to do with the genre....I prefer sci-fi stuff rather than historical. Graphics are SHIT hot (but I think we all kind of expect that these days). Story was good but could have been longer. However, there were a couple of problems I noticed:

1. Near the end when you've got 2 Sherman tanks under your command....don't try to take them past the first German tank you have to defeat....1 of mine got stuck with the german wreck attached to it (and when the other got blown up, it meant going back further than I should have needed to).

2. At the beginning, do not hit escape while you've getting up from your parachute jump otherwise you will end up with a crook in your neck:





Spent the whole of the first chapter like that on hard difficulty

I guess my main gripe is the same as I have with a lot of FPS. Why is it that only the Delta Force series manage to get movement such that you can lean out from behind walls or drop and roll?

If anyone wants to know how to activate the console and thus the cheats (before you unlock them), MSN me - you need to change 1 line in your ini file (btw - I've done that becasue I can't be arsed to go through the entire game again to unlock all the stuff - the first trip through was sans God mode).
