Stupid Dixons! I go in, see the original AVP game for a fiver, and buy it straight away. Then I get home and find that the idiotic gimps have put two copies of CD2 in the box (which have music on) and no CD1! ARRGGHHH! And I can't be bothered to go back into town today cos I'm tired, and I'm going home tomorrow so I can't take it back then! Morons. I was looking forward to playing it this afternoon

lol I may try that Gun for a disc AND refund Might try it when I go back. And I dunno if the original game is good, I just want anything to play while I'm at home here since the comp can't cope with AVP2!

Due to Rastas recommendation I shall have to get hold of it!
I found that the only time I "jumped" whilst playing the second game was in the marine missions when aliens started to pour out of the walls etc. That was unnerving. Playing as an alien or a Predator you don't have the same "real life" aspect.

I jumped in AVP2 when you go round a corner in the early marine missions and there's an alien curled up perfectly still in front of you that then leaps out at your face. Scared the life out of me!

Then try the original avp. you'll be so scared. when i played it a long time ago, it wasn't possible to save game until the end of the mission so it makes it harder (particulary in tyrargo and the 3rd mission of marines in director's cut mode for those of you who know it). If you try it give me your opinion. (I hope my frenchy english is good... )

One was more darker than 2, i chicked out after the second Rine mission at the colony cause i ran low on ammo... dam that was scary. The main bit that scared me in AvP2 was when you had to get White Team. The feckin bodies on walls, and when youi had to blow torch the locks off one of the exits and when you knock the 3rd one off, all the chest bursters emerge and two bugs dash at you. Ive never fecking pulled out my Smart Gun so fast in my bloody life. Actually, online at first gave me more scares, when i first played on Colony in a survivor game. I was seriously freaked out, hiding in the vents with my shotgun .

awww! I tried to take the discs back and get hold of AvP original... but they didn't have any replacement discs! So I had to settle for a refund So I still don't get to play it.
