Just finished Catch 22. Class book.
Haven't had a chance to read much, fethin work....
But started Chuck Palahniuk's "Non Fiction"....
First short story had me in stiches......

have just finished
The big bad wolf = James Patterson
Davinci code = Dan Brown
Digital fortress = Dan Brown
Angels and Demons = Dan Brown
Now reading Deception Point by you guessed it Dan Brown
So far Da Vinci Code was the best. BUT the others arent bad either. Sure there are a few plot holes but arent there always ??

Just finished Catch 22. Class book. I can never hear anyone say "Major" without thinking about that book. If I were ever to be in the army now after reading that, I wouldn't be able to keep a straight face talking to one. |

He certainly is  When you ge into it a bit (as I recall) you'll find a character called Aphrael which is one of my daughter's middle names. Also, the latest addition to my family has Khalid as his middle name...it wasn't till after registering him however that I realised it was supposed to be Khalad. Either way, I think you can see a theme running here: I love David Eddings' books. And the Ellenium was the first series I read. |

Keep trying to get my hands on both those series but the library NEVER has book 1 in...books 2, 3, 4 and 5 yes but never book 1 (and I'm too cheep to reserve them). And Carl...why didn't you know that?  lol. I'd also like to point out that Carl is not MY cousin, he's my kids' cousin...he's my nephew (just to avoid any confusion your post caused...like the confusion in my head for instance). |

Damn i need the 2nd book of the Ellenium series..  Good excuse to go on amazon. Reading "1984" by George Orwell. This book is messed up and i'm only 70 pages in. Class though. |
